Meet The Team
Hi everyone! We are Mellott Chicken Coops. A husband and wife team with two little helpers that are dedicated to bringing you affordable, dependable coops. We have Ben the Builder, Tori the Coordinator along with Benny and Juliet the Cuteness Factors.
We absolutely love watching our kiddos enjoy, love on and learn responsibility from our backyard flock. One of the things that brings us joy from building coops is being able to bring this experience to other families.
Our home base is in Descanso (San Diego) but have been to and service many areas including the Inland Empire, Temecula, San Diego, LA, Big Bear all the way down to the Mexico/CA border.
Both Ben and I grew up in the east county of San Diego participating in 4-H and FFA. Continuing our love of agriculture we started building and marketing chicken coops for those in the Southern California area. We build FULL time now (YAY!) and pride ourselves in providing hand built coops from an original design that is easy to clean that will last.
