We believe every child should have the opportunity to experience agriculture firsthand.

Our long-term vision is to give more students the opportunity to experience agriculture firsthand through school chicken programs. We’re starting close to home, working with schools in Southern California, with hopes of reaching more communities as Coops for Classrooms grows.

Coops for Classrooms is just getting started!

Coops for Classrooms is a new initiative from Mellott Chicken Coops, currently being developed in Southern California. Our goal is to help more students experience agriculture firsthand through school chicken programs.

We are currently exploring opportunities to work with schools in our local Southern California communities as we develop the program, seek funding, and build educational resources.

Outside Southern California? We still want to hear from you. While we are not currently able to provide coops outside our service area, hearing from interested schools helps us understand and document the need for programs like this as we work toward the future.
